trump‘s financial crimes (bank fraud, tax fraud, business fraud) are NOT victimless crimes:
- trump paid much lower interest rates because he lied about his assets and collateral (if he would’ve qualified at all)
- less money was available from the bank to loan to other potential borrowers, including small businesses
- hard working families & other businesses don’t have the same elite privilege to lie about their assets to qualify for loans
Even if you think they ARE victimless crimes (they’re not) – that doesn’t even matter. Next time you get pulled over for speeding, tell the cop it’s a victimless crime & see what happens.
