We should have the EXACT SAME ID REQUIREMENTS for both guns and voting. Same registration process. That seems fair since both are Constitutionally guaranteed rights.
97% of Americans believe in Universal Background checks and closing the gun show loophole. 97%. Let that sink in. Yet it still hasn’t happened. This is supposed to be a Democracy, of the People, by the People, for the People. 97%.
You can’t make it HARDER to vote while making it EASIER to buy a gun. Makes no sense at all. But that’s what one party is trying to do, with voter ID laws, trying to suppress the vote in certain areas, by gerrymandering to make votes worth less, etc.
